Zenith American Solutions' Leader, James Garrison, Receives Leadership Award

            (Glendale, Calif. – Jan. 17, 2018) Pacific Federal President Jim Garrison will be awarded with the Excellence in Leadership Award by the Southern California Chapter of the Teamsters National Black Caucus (TNBC) at its annual awards luncheon on Saturday, March 11 in Long Beach, Calif.

            A prominent and accomplished business leader with a passion for community service, Garrison will be honored for supporting TNBC’s goals of fostering union leadership opportunities for its members and advancing the interests of African-Americans and other minorities in the workplace, government and society.
        
    “The TNBC has a long history of reaching out to workers, actively engaging the community and fighting for the rights of the underrepresented,” said Garrison. “I am deeply appreciative and humbled by this recognition.”
      
      The luncheon, scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Hotel Maya (700 Queensway Drive), also will honor Chris Silvera, Secretary-Treasurer, Teamsters Local 808, with the Lifetime Achievement Award; Dr. Abraham Ghorbanian, DDS, Aava Dental, with the Labor Solidarity Award; and William “Billy” O’ Connell, Colette’s Children’s Home, with the Community Service Award.
