Advancements
To assist pension plan participants along their journey toward retirement, we have introduced several new online features to the Participant Edge Portal. These additions, which are implemented upon agreement by the client Fund, aim to simplify the process of applying for retirement benefits and monitoring the status of those applications following submission.
These enhancements complement the existing options available to participants today. The new capabilities enable individuals to submit their applications digitally, as well as identify and provide and any missing information online, eliminating the need to visit the office or wait for mailed requests.

Ben Halmers leads Zenith American Solutions’ National Retirement Operations organization, providing services to our Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plan clients.
In this role, Ben oversees all aspects of our day-to-day retirement plan operations and provides strategic direction for retirement product and technology initiatives. Ben has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in retirement plan administration serving Taft-Hartley, corporate, and public retirement clients and their participants. Before joining Zenith American Solutions, Ben served in multiple leadership, operational, and customer service capacities with Empower Retirement, MassMutual Retirement, and Prudential Retirement.
Ben consistently strives to enhance the current retirement operations processes and participant experience, and we are proud to have him on the Zenith American Solutions team.
